Scott Cross and the UT Arlington men's basketball coaching staff are hosting four basketball camps this summer at College Park Center. Registration is available online at www.scrossutamensbballcamp.com.
"These camps are the perfect opportunity for your kids to improve their basketball skills in a great environment with our top-notch coaches and with access to our first-class facilities," Cross said. "We work closely with each of the kids to make sure they learn the fundamentals of basketball. They're going to have a great time and they're going to get better."
The camps are available for students from grades 1-12 and all skill levels, and feature personalized instruction from Cross and his assistant coaches. Drills include ball handling, shooting, rebounding, footwork and other fundamentals. Camps also include live 1-on-1 and 5-on-5 games.
The camp schedule begins with a General Skills Camp: Session I running June 16-19 for $125. Grades 1-6 attend from 9 a.m.-noon and grades 7-12 from 1:30-4:30 p.m. General Skills Camp: Session II is June 23-26 for $125. Grades 1-6 attend from 9 a.m.-noon and grades 7-12 from 1:30-4:30 p.m. The General Skills Camp includes a basketball and camp T-shirt.
Two Back to School Camps are also being offered for grades 1-12 at $50 each. Session I is August 4-6 from 5:30-7 p.m. Session II is August 18-20 from 5:30-7 p.m.
