The Arlington Public Library is offering teens an opportunity to learn the mechanics of building a hovercraft on a down-scaled version by reusing items found at home. Register today for the Southwest Branch Library's Launch It: CD Hovercraft Competition on Friday, March 14. The event will run from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m.

While you won't be able to ride on the hovercraft, you will have a blast watching it glide around your table. After building your very own model, you will be able to challenge the distance of other teen's hovercrafts in an exciting race to take on 1st place. Registration is required.
