Free Concerts at Levitt Pavilion for Performing Arts

If you missed any of the great artists performing at the Levitt this summer, don't worry. The Levitt Pavilion's 2013 Texas Power Fall Concert Series kicks off August 30 with another great band. Grab your lawn chairs, bring the food and coolers, and enjoy a night under the stars. All concerts are FREE to the public.

Friday: Brave Combo - Let's polka with everyone's favorite nuclear polka band

Saturday: Pentatonix - Arlington's own a capella sensation and winner of NBC's The Sing Off!

Sunday: Ray Wylie Hubbard - The legendary Texas troubadour and master storyteller.

Minnesota Twins vs. Texas Rangers

Joe Mauer and the Minnesota Twins visit Arlington for a three-game series against your first-place Texas Rangers. The opening game is Friday at 7:05 p.m.; Saturday's first pitch is 7:05 p.m.; and Sunday's game starts at 2:05 p.m. Single game tickets are still available.

Fast-paced Volleyball Action in Arlington

Catch the UT Arlington volleyball squad as it hosts the 2013 UTA Hilton Invitational at College Park Center Aug. 30-31. UTA will play Abilene Christian University on Friday at 7 p.m. to open the season. The squad will face Grambling State on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. before taking on former Western Athletic Conference rival Louisiana Tech at 7 p.m. This is UTA's first game since joining the Sun Belt Conference in July.

Tickets Still Available for 2013 Cowboys Classic: LSU vs. TCU

Looking to snag tickets to Saturday's epic battle at AT&T Stadium? Living Social has $25 standing room tickets available. The TCU Horned Frogs will go head-to-head in against the LSU Tigers in the season opener for both teams.

Rangers Labor Day Race

Lace up the sneakers and join other runners for a scenic jog through Arlington's entertainment district with Rangers Ballpark at the center, AT&T Stadium nearby, and Six Flags Over Texas in the background. Proceeds will benefit the Texas Rangers Foundation. Here are this year's event fees:
