Many City of Arlington municipal government offices will be closed for Labor Day on Monday, Sept. 2 (complete list is below). There will be no garbage and recycling pickups on Labor Day. Regular office hours and service schedules will resume Tuesday, Sept. 3.

• Arlington Municipal Court
• Animal Services Center
• Parks and Recreation Department Administrative Offices
• Handitran Office and Handitran special transportation services
• Hugh Smith Indoor Pool
• George W. Hawkes Central Library and all branch libraries
• Meadowbrook Recreation Center
• Cliff Nelson Recreation Center
• Dottie Lynn Recreation Center
• Elzie Odom Athletic Center
• Hugh Smith Recreation Center
• Senior Recreation Centers

• There will be no residential or commercial garbage and recycling collection on Labor Day. Commercial collections will be made up Tuesday. Residential trash and recycling will not be made up.

• Metro ArlingtonXpress (MAX) bus: no service on Labor Day.

What's Open Monday, Sept. 2

• Bad Konigshofen Family Aquatic Center - noon to 5 p.m.
• Randol Mill Family Aquatic Center - noon to 5 p.m.
• All Arlington Golf facilities (Tierra Verde Golf Club, Lake Arlington Golf Course, Chester Ditto Golf Course and Meadowbrook Park Golf Course) - normal operating hours
• Arlington Tennis Center - 8 a.m. to 9:30 p.m
