Moya Art Events and Downtown Arlington Management Corporation present the 1st Annual South St. Art Festival for three days on Sept. 27 - 29. The newest premiere art festival, South St. Art Festival, focuses on high-quality work. Each artist goes through a juried application process. Pieces can range from $40 to $10,000.
Live music takes place each day at the Coors Light Stage, located on the corner of South and East St. Fort Worth blues musician Buddy Whittington headlines on Friday, Jon Christopher Davis and Lone Star Attitude bring the music of Texas to the stage on Saturday, and Swan Song, a Led Zeppelin tribute band, close the show on Sunday. A total of 10 bands take the stage during the festival while guests explore original art.
"We're so pleased to have the South St. Art Festival just blocks from the Levitt. This will give our patrons the opportunity to shop and enjoy more free music before and after the Levitt concerts," said Patti Diou, Executive Director of the Levitt Pavilion and sponsor of the festival.
