UPDATE: Arlington Fire Department says the I-20 incident has been cleared. All lanes both eastbound and westbound are open.
Earlier story:
Due to a two-vehicle crash in the 6000 block of Interstate 20 this morning, the highway continues to remain closed as the Arlington Fire Department manages the resulting fire.
At about 6:18 a.m., Arlington first responders were dispatched to the crash scene.
A truck carrying a 3,000 gallon propane tank and a car collided in the westbound lanes of Interstate 20 between Green Oaks and Highway 820. In addition, a third vehicle struck one of the vehicles in the original crash.
None of the people in the vehicles were seriously injured.
The Arlington Fire Department is allowing the fuel in the propane tank to burn off, which will lead to an extended close-down of the highway.
