Ridership remains steady on the Metro ArlingtonXpress, or MAX, buses cruising down Arlington streets, and that has city leaders excited about the future.

The service currently connects the College Park District on the campus of UT Arlington to the Trinity Railway Express' CentrePort/DFW Station, allowing passengers to head over to Fort Worth or Dallas-all for $5.

Bus drivers have noticed a steady stream of UT Arlington students riding MAX since its August 19 launch. They receive a 50% discount on all fares, which really helps young people working with a tight budget.
