The Great Big Texas Home Show is returning to Cowboys Stadium, and is the premier place for North Texans to experience what's new in home, gardening, remodeling, home décor and more. Get expert advice for any home and garden related product and service, as well as an opportunity to shop, compare and save. Noon-9:00pm on Friday; 10am-9pm on Saturday; 10am-6pm on Sunday. $12 for adults (ages 13+) and $6 for children (ages 6-12).
"Second Saturday' Workshops at AMA
Create a masterpiece or simply learn how to use the potter's wheel during Saturday's clay workshop at the Arlington Museum of Art. This workshop is great for both the novice and the accomplished artist. There are two classes for you to choose from: 9am - noon; 1- 4pm. $20 per class.
Country Legend Plays Arlington
Enjoy an early dinner at an Arlington restaurant, then catch country music legend Charlie Daniels as he and his band perform at Arlington Music Hall. Hear Daniels perform his number one country hit "The Devil Went Down to Georgia' and several other popular songs he has written and performed. Show starts at 7:30pm on Saturday. Tickets are $60-75.
Taking Photos With the Easter Bunny
For a hopping good time this weekend, visit Ms. Easter Bunny at The Parks at Arlington for a few holiday photos. The snuggly bunny will welcome girls and boys at her little house with a yellow roof located on the lower level near Nordstrom Rack. Catch her in the garden from 10am to 8pm on Friday and Saturday; noon to 6pm on Sunday. Ms. Easter Bunny plans to take periodic carrot breaks throughout the day.
Running for a Cause
Run with the pack through River Legacy Park in either a 5K or 1 Mile Run benefiting the Dallas Defenders Football Club. This local charity features local heroes (police, firefighters, and EMTs who donate their personal funds to play men's tackle football to help raise money for fallen and injured first responders. First race begins at 9:30am on Saturday. Registration is $15 for the One Mile Run and $25. Register Online at RunSignUp.com.
