How do you do? My name is "Bergdorff' and I was chosen as the Arlington Animal Services Dog of the Week! I am said to be a volunteer favorite because of my kind and gentle personality. I was a little shy at first, but a nice volunteer got not know me, and found out I know all sorts of fun tricks and have a really silly personality. I am a Chow Chow/Shepherd Mix weighing about 54 pounds, and I am approximately five years old. I know sit, down, "high-five' and shake! The volunteer who works with me said I am very smart, and that I will do almost anything for a treat. She said I am very "food motivated' and that I have good manners and take treats gently. My favorite toys to play with are soft toys, and when I get really silly I play "hide and seek' with my tail. I have a soft, beautiful, medium length coat, and I love to be brushed. I am looking for a "fur-ever' home today! Could that be with you? Will you please come down to Arlington Animal Services to meet me? Oh, I sure hope so!

Bergdorff was named by the Arlington Animal Services volunteer staff. He was an owner surrender that was adopted for someone as a gift. Unfortunately, that family did not want a dog, so poor Bergdorff was returned. He is located in kennel DA19 and his ID number is A19155170. His adoption fees include all core vaccinations, his neuter (which has already been done), and a microchip. Bergdorff is available for adoption and ready to go home today!
