The Arlington Alliance for Youth will be presenting a $500 scholarship to a high school graduating senior whose spirit of service positively impacts the Arlington community.
High school seniors should download an application from the Alliance for Youth website at www.ArlingtonAlliance4youth.org and submit an essay that describes their service impact on the Arlington community.
The Jerry Cooper Service-Learning Scholarship is presented by the Arlington Alliance for Youth and named for a journalist and long-time Arlington community leader whose passion was serving and helping others. He died in 2010, but his legacy of service continues through this annual endowment.
