Amber Buechele, a senior hitter for the Lamar High School volleyball team, has been selected as the City of Arlington's April 2014 Student-Athlete of the Month.

Buechele, an honor roll student, currently carries a 3.66 overall GPA on 4.0 scale. During her high school career, Amber has been a member of the Student Council, Latin Club and A Capella choir.

This dynamic student-athlete is equally impressive outside the classroom, earning First Team All-District 3-5A honors in volleyball.

In her spare time, Amber volunteers with Mission Arlington, Boys & Girls Club, Most Blessed Sacrament and several schools in the city.
