Early voting begins Monday, April 28, 2014 for the General and Special elections. The polls will open at 8 a.m. and close at 5 p.m. Extended hours, including weekends and a temporary early voting site at UT Arlington, are also available. Election Day is Saturday, May 10, 2014. In Arlington, voters are electing City Council representatives for Single-Member Districts 1 and 2 and At-Large Districts 6 & 7.

This spring, Arlington voters are also electing representatives for Place 6 and 7 on the Arlington Independent School District Board of Trustees, in addition to voting on a proposition for the issuance of bonds by AISD and a street maintenance sales tax. Some Arlington voters will also be electing representatives for the Mansfield school boards.
