This weekend, Six Flags Over Texas will open, kicking off its 54th year in Arlington: The American Dream City.
Dreams are closely tied to Six Flags, which was founded in Arlington back in 1961 by Angus Wynne, Jr. Since that time, the theme park has grown and so has its parent company, now the world's largest regional theme park company with $1.1 billion in revenue and 18 parks across the US, Mexico and Canada.
Six Flags Over Texas is also a dream come true for millions of people from around the globe as they flock to the park to experience family fun, easy to do on the theme park's 100+ rides, shows and attractions.
Thousands of teenagers have started their professional lives at Six Flags Over Texas including the current CEO and Park President Steve Martindale, who started working there when he was in high school.
Check out Steve's American Dream story in Arlington and how Six Flags Over Texas is helping many, many more people live their American Dream.
