Bumble the Bunny Hops Away with First Place in Animal Services Pet Calendar Contest
Bumble, a Lion Head Bunny hopped away with first place honors and onto the cover of the 2018 Arlington Animal Services Pet Calendar.
Bumble's proud owner is Arlington Animal Services Volunteer and Board member Judith Flynn, who also volunteered with the City of Arlington as a board member for Teen Court many years ago. Bumble is the first rabbit to ever win the photo contest.
This year's pet photo contest was open to any City of Arlington approved volunteer(s) with a pet. There were amazing entries - even a pet named "Kitten" - a colorful 16" lizard described as a dramatic dragon diva, entered by Animal Services Volunteer Meghan!

Volunteers shared stories of their star pets and, if able, snapped their photos by one of our City Star sculptures. Donations submitted for entries and votes in the contest support educational opportunities at the Arlington Animal Services Center. Be watching for news about the release of the 2018 Arlington Animal Services Pet Calendar possibly in November 2017.
Congratulations to all the winners and participants in the contest!
