Argentina and Mexico will meet for the first time since the 2010 FIFA World Cup to battle in the U.S. World Tour. The match will be held at Arlington's $1.15 billion AT&T stadium on September 8 at 9:00 p.m.

The teams last played on June 27, 2010 with La Albiceleste (Argentina) defeating El Tricolor (Mexico) 3-1 in the Round of 16 of the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa. This will be the teams 28th encounter but the first in Texas.

Argentina, the two-time FIFA World Cup champion, currently leads Mexico with 12 wins, 11 draws and four losses. Mexico is going to fight to take the lead with some of the best players in the sport. Rafael Marquez is statistically one of the best players on El Tricolor with 15 goals and 126 caps. Argentina's team captain, Lionel Messi, is also a soccer superstar with 97 caps and 45 goals.

Fans will pour in from everywhere to fill Jerry Jones' 85,000-seat capacity (105,000 with standing room) sports mecca. Even fans in the nose bleed sections will get a high-definition view of the rivals by checking out Jerry's 72 feet high by 160 feet wide video board. The colossal four-sided HDTV stretches from 20-yard line to 20-yard line and was the largest high-definition television screen in the world at the time of installation.

Tickets to AT&T Stadium are currently on sale and can be purchased via ticketmaster.com or by calling 1-800-745-3000.
