Sublett Area Closures

Construction work on the SH 360 South project could affect some drivers in South Arlington over the weekend, starting Friday morning.

Contractors working at the Camp Wisdom/ Sublett and SH 360 area will be closing a lane on both of the eastbound and the westbound detours between the SH 360 frontage roads from 9 a.m. Friday, November 10 through 5 p.m. Sunday, November 12 for paving activities. This will also reduce the number of available northbound and southbound lanes at both intersections. Drivers should expect delays.

Construction on the $340 million SH 360 South design-build project is on track for completion next spring.

The SH 360 South Project is being built in partnership with the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), North Texas Tollway Authority (NTTA) and the North Central Texas Council of Governments and local cities and counties to improve mobility, enhance safety and connect communities. Once complete, the toll road will be operated by NTTA.

The 9.7-mile project, which began in fall 2015, stretches from Green Oaks Boulevard in Arlington to US 287. The project will improve mobility throughout the rapidly developing corridor in addition to improving traffic flow for local businesses and residents along the SH 360 frontage roads.
