The Academy of Country Music Awards once again put Arlington on the national stage, just three months after AT&T Stadium hosted the first-ever College Football Playoff National Championship in January.
Sunday's 50th annual ACM Awards in The American Dream City featured performances from some of country music's biggest stars and broke a major record in the process.
The Academy of Country Music Awards and AT&T Stadium in Arlington now hold the Guinness World Record for the most attended live awards show with 70,252 people.
This comes after thousands of residents and visitors attended ACM Party for a Cause at Globe Life Park this past Friday and Saturday, April 17-18.
“I have never encountered a more welcoming community than the City of Arlington," said Academy of Country Music CEO Bob Romeo on the red carpet to thousands of fans watching on the big screen inside AT&T Stadium.
One of the biggest nights in country music played to an enthusiastic Arlington crowd.
Special to the 50th year of the awards show, Reba, Miranda Lambert, Kenny Chesney, Brooks & Dunn, George Strait and Taylor Swift all took home milestone awards.
The ACM Awards, which aired live on CBS, also gave Cowboys fans a chance to see some of the team's well-established players and popular names from the past.
Tony Romo, Jason Witten and Troy Aikman all took the stage as presenters, with Romo even throwing a pass to co-host Luke Bryan.
Bryan, who hosted the show alongside Blake Shelton, took home the Entertainer of the Year Award, the show's biggest honor.
