The Arlington Police Department celebrated the graduation of its 16 newest police officers during a special ceremony Friday afternoon.
Having completed 28 weeks in the Arlington Police Basic Academy, these men and women will begin patrolling neighborhoods in the American Dream City with their field training officers on August 1. This milestone class represents the 50th academy class to graduate since the first academy class graduated in 1990.
