Arlington is pleased to announce the second annual Homeownership Fair scheduled will take place June 24, 2017, at the Arlington Convention Center.

At last year's successful event, nearly 50 exhibitors provided information on the home-buying process to more than 400 attendees from the Arlington community.

This year, the Homeownership Fair will offer even more informational sessions with industry professionals on topics such as homeownership in today's real estate market, down payment assistance programs, mortgage lending, credit repair, foreclosure prevention, affordable housing programs, weatherization, energy savings, insurance, city home repair programs and more. Participants will have the opportunity to interact one-on-one with exhibitors from mortgage lenders, real estate agents, housing specialists and city personnel.

The fair is designed for prospective homebuyers, UT Arlington students and graduates, young urban professionals, millennials, and current homeowners. Information will be provided on city services and programs and quality affordable housing opportunities.

Pre-registration will be available April 15.

Lunch will be provided and attendees are encouraged register online in order to win door prizes. Activities for children ages 6 and up will be available for this family-friendly event.
