America's Team is back in the playoffs as they host the Green Bay Packers at AT&T Stadium in Arlington this Sunday, January 15, 2017. The Cowboys are the #1 seed in the NFC Playoffs and received a bye week during the Wild Card round last weekend. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers and the Packers are coming off a decisive victory over the New York Giants. This will be the second time the two teams have met after Dak Prescott, Ezekiel Elliot and the Cowboys defeated Green Bay during the regular season on October 16, 2016. The game will be nationally televised on FOX and kickoff gets underway at 3:40 p.m. CT.
Arlington MLK 'Advancing the Dream' Celebration
The annual Arlington Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. "Advancing the Dream" Celebration is January 13-16, 2017. This celebratory weekend begins with the kick-off event, the Advancing the Dream Banquet that will be held Friday, January 13th at 6 p.m. in the Bluebonnet Ballroom at the E.H. Hereford University Center on the campus of UT Arlington. Tickets are $45 and can be purchased at http://www.UTATickets.com. The Arlington MLK Day of Service will take place on Monday, January 16, 2017. The Celebration Committee is planning to involve hundreds of volunteers in making a difference in the City of Arlington on this national holiday. Individual volunteers and volunteer groups can sign up on the event's website, www.ArlingtonMLK.com.

Three madcap men in tights weave their wicked way through all of Shakespeare's comedies, histories, and tragedies in one wild ride that will leave you breathless and helpless with laughter. This irreverent, fast-paced romp through the Bard's plays was London's longest-running comedy. The show opens on Friday, January 13, 2017 at Theatre Arlington in Downtown and runs through January 29, 2017. Performances take place on Thursday at 7:30 pm; Friday & Saturday at 8:00 pm; Sunday at 2:00 pm.

The Arlington Museum of Art in Downtown proudly announces its winter blockbuster exhibit, Pablo Picasso: Ceramics, featuring more than 40 ceramics by renowned artist Pablo Picasso. The exhibit will be on display from November 12, 2016 through February 12, 2017.
