Three major Residential Street Rebuild Projects will move ahead after the Arlington City Council approved more than $1.1M during its Aug. 25 meeting to provide engineering design related to rebuilding several streets in Arlington.
According to the Public Works & Transportation Department, construction funding for the rebuild projects is scheduled to be approved with the 2016 Capital Budget. All three residential rebuild projects should bid in Spring 2016.
This connects with the city council's "Enhance Regional Mobility" priority.
The city council's approval allows the City of Arlington to finalize engineering design contracts with the following companies:

- Stream Water Group of Fort Worth: $354,510 (2015 Residential Rebuild - Phase I)
