The Second Annual Mayor's Community Prayer Breakfast will be held at 6:30 a.m. on Thursday, February 2 at the Arlington Convention Center. This event, hosted by the Arlington Chamber of Commerce, aims to bring together members of the community for an uplifting breakfast.
Guests will be able to enjoy a delicious breakfast buffet with Arlington Mayor Jeff Williams, who will introduce his new Kindness Initiative at the event. Invocations will be delivered by Rabbi Levi Gurevich, Dr. Adnan Debas and Rev. Andy Mangum. Following breakfast will be a prayer program lead by local community and faith leaders. Speakers include, the Rev. David Hogg, Tillie Burgin, Kelly Curnutt, Rev. Eric Herrstrom, Rev. Dean Posey, Police Chief Will Johnson and Monsignor Joseph Pemberton.
After last year's successful turnout we are excited for this year,"said Michael Jacobson, President & CEO of the Chamber. -We hope this event becomes a tradition that demonstrates the strength Arlington has when its diverse residents and church leaders come together in prayer for community and economic prosperity.
