The 6th annual South Street Art Festival is returning to Downtown Arlington this weekend, offering visitors the change to enjoy handcrafted arts, wine and brews.
The free, three-day festival, presented by Moya Art Events, is scheduled to run:
- 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 12
- 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13
- 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 14
Local, regional and national artists will line South Street from Elm Street to Jefferies Street, showcasing and selling one-of-a-kind, original art. South Street Art Festival features quality, affordable art in a setting where the artist and art lovers can come together, creating meaningful experiences through art.
See and buy work in 14 mediums, including ceramics, wood and everything in between.
South Street Art Festival takes place at 300 E. South St., behind the buildings of J. Gilligan's Bar & Grill and Twisted Root Burger Company.
Admission to the festival is free. Free parking will be available throughout Downtown within walking distance fo the festival.
Urban Alchemy Coffee + Wine Bar will host wine tastings, with tickets and souvenir wine glasses available for purchase during the festival at the wine-tasting ticket booth. Wine tasting tickets are $15 for 10 tasting tickets or $20 for 10 tasting tickets plus a souvenir wine glass.
