Business travelers and South Arlington residents seeking hotel accommodations for out-of-town friends and family have a new option along Interstate 20.

A 135-room Hilton Garden Inn Dallas/Arlington South opened January 31, 2017, near the Arlington Highlands shopping center, west of Collins Street.

The Hilton Garden Inn hotel features The Garden Grille & Bar, indoor heated pool, a 24-hour business center, and more than 8,200 square feet of flexible event/meeting space with complimentary wifi. The location at 521 E. Interstate 20 is minutes away from Arlington's attractions, including The Parks at Arlington mall, the Arlington Highlands and Entertainment District venues.

The Arlington hotel was part of Hilton's expansion this year within the rapidly growing Dallas-Fort Worth region. The company also opened a Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Dallas/Richardson and a Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Dallas-Central Expry North Park Area.
