Tickets to see actress and activist Mia Farrow for the UT Arlington Maverick Speakers Series are still available.
Farrow will speak on "What Falls Away: One Woman's Journey to Fulfillment" at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 8, at Texas Hall, 701 W. Nedderman Drive. An audience question-and-answer session will follow the lecture.
She is perhaps best known for her role as Rosemary in Rosemary's Baby and has appeared in more than 50 films, winning numerous awards since her career began in 1964. Her most recent film is 2011's Dark Horse.
Farrow has worked extensively as a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador and is involved in humanitarian activities in Africa. In 2008, Time magazine named her one of the most influential people in the world.
