All interested citizens are invited to attend a public meeting for Spur 303 (Pioneer Parkway) pedestrian improvements on Thursday, Jan. 25 at the Senior Recreation Center at New York Avenue, located at 1815 New York Avenue in Arlington.
The public meeting, set for 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., will be an open house format, allowing visitors to come and go at their own availability.
The Texas Department of Public Transportation's proposed two-mile project from Collins Street to SH 360 would provide pedestrian improvements, including continuous sidewalks, Americans with Disability Act (ADA) curb ramps and upgraded traffic signals with pedestrian elements.
Maps and other drawings depicting the proposed improvements will be displayed at the public meeting. Interested persons will have the opportunity to ask questions and offer comments.
