The City of Arlington was named 2017's 15th Most Culturally Diverse Large City by a recent study from the leading personal finance outlet WalletHub.com.
WalletHub's data team took a snapshot of America's current cultural profile - comparing 501 of the largest U.S. cities across three key indicators of cultural diversity - to determine the most multifaceted of the bunch. The analysts examined each city based on ethnicity and race, language and birthplace.
Here's how Arlington shaped up, according to the study:

- Ethnodiversity - 21st
- Linguistic Diversity - 81st
- Birthplace Diversity - 191st
With a population topping 381,000, Arlington is the third largest city in North Texas and the 50th largest in the United States.
Arlington ranked 15th among large cities in terms of cultural diversity, according to WalletHub. But The American Dream City wasn't the only Texas city on the list. Houston ranked 10th among large cities, followed by Dallas at 16th, Fort Worth at 19th and Austin at 22nd.
