Binh Vu, junior for Juan Seguin High School's men's tennis team, has been selected as the City of Arlington's Student-Athlete of the Month for February 2017.
Kristi Hall, the head coach of Seguin's tennis teams, continues to be impressed with Binh's work ethic both on the court and with his studies. Binh is currently in the top five of his class.
"Binh brings the enthusiasm in his studies and also on the court," Hall said. "He's been working really hard this year trying to get better at tennis and at singles."
Binh is the top singles player on the Seguin High School tennis team, a feat his brother also achieved during his time at the school.
"I found my love for tennis from my brother," Vu said. "He introduced it to me. He told me tennis is really fun. So I joined the team because he joined."
His goal is to join the United States Military Academy at West Point and continue his dreams of playing tennis at the next level.
