Public Meeting Scheduled Oct. 23 for California Lane Drainage Improvement Project
The Stormwater Management Division of the Public Works and Transportation Department is hosting a public meeting to gather information about drainage concerns around California Lane. The meeting will be held from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2018, at the Bob Duncan Recreation Center, 2800 S. Center St.
The California Lane Drainage Improvement project aims to mitigate structural flooding by increasing the capacity of the City's stormwater utility system in the neighborhoods near California Lane between Fielder and Bowen Roads and Arkansas Lane and Mayfield Road.

If you live in the proposed project area, but are unable to attend the meeting, or have experienced flooding in other neighborhoods, the City would like to hear from you. You can let the City know about your concerns by completing the online Flooding Questionnaire. The information received from the public will assist the Stormwater Management group determine the appropriate design solutions for drainage concerns throughout the City.
