The Arlington Police Department responded to a single vehicle crash in the 2400 block of East Sublett Road around 3:35 a.m. on Sunday, March 10, 2019. Officers located a vehicle that had crashed into a fuel pump and caught fire. The sole occupant of the vehicle was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Investigators believe that the vehicle was traveling westbound on Sublett Road and entered a gas station from the south entrance. For an unknown reason, the vehicle did not slow down and struck the fuel pump. The impact of the crash caused the vehicle to catch fire. The crash remains under investigation to determine what exactly happened. No other persons were injured in the incident. The Tarrant County Medical Examiner's Office will identify the deceased once next of kin have been notified.
