2024 Memorial Day Closings and City Service Schedules in Arlington

Many City of Arlington municipal offices and facilities will be closed Monday, May 27, 2024, in observance of Memorial Day.

Garbage and residential recycling pickups will occur in Arlington on Monday as regularly scheduled.

Regular office hours and service schedules for some facilities will resume at 8 a.m. Tuesday, May 28.

What’s Open Monday, May 27

  • Bad Konigshofen Family Aquatic Center, noon to 7 p.m.
  • Randol Mill Family Aquatic Center, noon to 7 p.m.
  • East Library and Recreation Center, recreation side open from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and library open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • East Library and Recreation Center indoor pool, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • Elzie Odom Athletic Center, 8 a.m. to noon
  • Dottie Lynn Recreation Center, 8 a.m. to noon
  • Cliff Nelson Recreation Center, 8 a.m. to noon
  • Texas Rangers Golf Club and Home Plate
  • Tierra Verde Golf Club and Ventana Grille
  • Meadowbrook Park Golf Course
  • Lake Arlington Golf Course
  • The Beacon Recreation Center, noon to 4 p.m.
  • The Beacon Splash Pad, noon to 4 p.m.
  • Arlington Tennis Center
  • California Lane Park Splash Pad, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Brantley Hinshaw Park Splash Pad, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Holiday Garbage and Recycling Schedule: Garbage and recycling will not be picked up New Year’s Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas.
