Owen Hulme, a senior on Martin High School’s swim team, has been selected as the City of Arlington’s Student-Athlete of the Month for March 2024.

Hulme, a caption for the Warriors, competed at Regionals three straight years. 

“He’s developed a lot into a leader, an athlete, and the student he is,” said Alex Weidemann, Martin Swimming and Diving Head Coach. “He wasn’t born with that. I think what any kid can take away from that is, if you have a goal and you just chip away at it day to day, that you will find yourself pretty far from where you started.”

Holme, whose favorite subject is physics, has been accepted to the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis.
