Join the Arlington Public Library’s Career and Education Fair Saturday, Aug. 24 at the East Library and Recreation Center from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Join the Arlington Public Library’s Career and Education Fair Saturday, Aug. 24 at the East Library and Recreation Center from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and explore job opportunities in fast-growing fields with educational resources that will expand your skills and employability.

There will be workshops for veterans transitioning to civilian life and for college students seeking their first job opportunities. Headshots will also be available for those looking for a professional picture and there will be door prizes given away towards the end.

To help prepare for the Career and Education Fair, the library has two virtual Resume Refresh sessions that one can register to attend:

  • Tuesday, Aug. 20 at 6 p.m.
  • Thursday, Aug. 22 at 11 a.m.

At this event, employers will have current full time, part time, temporary and remote positions available with salaries ranging from $20,000 a year up to $100,000 a year. Some of the employers you might see are FedEx, The University of Texas at Arlington, Texas Live!, Tarrant County College, Workforce Solutions of Tarrant County, and so many more!
