El Tiempo Cantina – a Houston institution for over 25 years – will open its first location in the DFW metroplex at Choctaw Stadium in May 2024. Conveniently located across the street from the new Loews Arlington Hotel and Convention Center entrance, the restaurant is known for its skirt steak fajitas, house-made tortillas and secret recipe margaritas.
El Tiempo joins a host of businesses that already call Choctaw Stadium home, including Spark Coworking, Arlington Economic Development Corporation, fine dining restaurant Hearsay and Starbucks. Events held there include Dallas Jackals Major League Rugby matches, Arlington Renegades United Football League games, Arlingon ISD high school football matchups and more.
“When we were campaigning for the new ballpark, part of our commitment is we’d keep Choctaw Stadium intact and find ways to engage the space,” said Rob Matwick, the Rangers’ executive vice president of business operations.
