The talent from students at Arlington Independent School District shines through on an all-new episode of Culture Buzz with Youth Art Month.

The magnificent works by AISD students can be viewed at the Arlington Museum of Art located at 201 W. Main St. – a partnership that continues for more than 30 years.

The 2022 exhibition is the first to be held in-person since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.

“The last two years, it was virtual,” said Linh Nguyen, AISD’s Assistant Director for Visual Arts. “So, it is a blessing to be back in person. To see these kids in person, to see them react to the artwork, to be able to touch it and see it, you can’t beat an in-person event."

Each Spring, the AMA works collaboratively with AISD to give students the opportunity to display their pieces, done in a wide variety of mediums, to the general public. Six weeks are dedicated to this exhibition. It is held in conjunction with National Youth Art Month and Youth Art Month work on display in Austin, Texas at the State Capitol Building.

The Arlington Museum of Art does not charge an admission fee for the duration of Youth Art Month. Click here for additional information
