Summer is heating up and we’re ready to celebrate with fun activities throughout July! Mark your calendar for these upcoming events with Arlington Parks and Recreation.
Parents’ Night Out: Summer Vibes – Friday, July 12
Enjoy a night out while we have some fun at Dottie Lynn Recreation Center! Parents' Night Out is a great opportunity for youth to hang out during the summer. From 6-8 PM we will get wild in our bounce house, play video and board games, and enjoy a themed craft! Dinner provided. Ages 5-12.

Glow Up Pool Party at Randol Mill – Friday, July 12
Get ready to dive into an electrifying evening at the Glow Up Pool Party at Randol Mill Family Aquatic Center! Come splash around as we turn it into a magical wonderland, and join us for exciting games and some cool beats. Make sure to dress in your brightest outfits and let your inner glow shine. It's going to be an unforgettable night of laughter and fun! All participants must register prior to the doors opening. Online registration will close July 11th, 2024. Will accept purchase at the doors for door price.

Dottie’s Woodland West Centennial Car Show – Saturday, July 13
Nothing says summer like a car show! Come enjoy the Woodland West Centennial Car Show, hosted by Dottie Lynn Recreation Center on July 13. Bring the whole family to this free event and come see all sorts of makes and models from 10 AM to noon.

Silent Disco – Friday, July 19
Dance to your own beat or enjoy a quiet night with friends at this unique party hosted by East Library and Recreation Center. All guests will be given a pair of headphones for the night and will have different options of music or movies to listen to. Dance, watch a movie, or play games with friends from 6-8:30 PM! Pizza and snacks provided. This event is sensory-friendly.

Teen Night at Dottie – Saturday, July 27
Gather your friends at Dottie Lynn Recreation Center and join us for some fun during open play gym, just for teens! Give a last hoorah before the end of summer in a Nerf battle and test your skills in a gaming truck. Refreshments provided. Pre-registration required. Ages 13-17.
