Calling all animal lovers! Are you looking for a furry friend?

Arlington Animal Services has many dogs and cats ready to be welcomed into their fur-ever homes. With as many as 100 adoptable animals in its care on any given day, you are sure to find your next best friend.

At the shelter, residents can find a variety of pets, whether you are looking for puppies, kittens or older dogs and cats. Sometimes they even have chickens and rabbits for adoption!

You are sure to find your companion. Or maybe they’ll find you.

Take Abby, for example. Abby, a black and white short-haired cat, was looking through the window of the cat room when she saw her future family. She saw her new best friend, a little human, running back and forth and decided to do the same. Next thing she knew, she was going to her fur-ever home.

 There’s also Zoey. One day, Zoey, a brown and black dog, was looking through the window and saw Kristin walking down the hall. It was an immediate connection. Turns out, Kristen was looking for another dog, but as soon as she laid eyes on sweet Zoey, she knew she was the one. Now Zoey and Kristin travel together having the best times and giving each other warm hugs.

 Cookie was a little kitten looking for his purr-fect home. Chelsea was helping her friend find a cat but when she saw Cookie, she immediately knew they were going to be best friends. Now Cookie is fully grown and giving his best friend Chelsea the love they both needed making both of their lives purr-fect.
