Alliance For Children, the children’s advocacy center serving Tarrant County, announced today the gift of $52,500 from Women Inspiring Philanthropy to go toward the renovation of its original Arlington location at 1320 W. Abram. This support will redesign and outfit the agency’s first location which will now encompass the nonprofit’s clinical program for the Arlington area. Support will specifically assist with the purchase of new appliances, audio-visual equipment, and furniture to outfit the counseling space. The agency is currently adding 24,000 square feet to its second building on the property to house all investigative aspects of the agency’s work within the Arlington community.
Through the provision of free, tailor-made, open-ended therapeutic services, Alliance For Children rebuilds the lives of children devastated by the trauma of abuse. This financial support ensures the agency is equipped with the proper space and resources necessary to accommodate a team of expert clinicians, enhanced clinical services, and administer care to victims of child abuse in the Arlington and surrounding community in need of counseling.
Chief Executive Officer, Julie Evans, stated “Alliance For Children is honored to partner with Women Inspiring Philanthropy to create a safe and inviting place to serve and provide healing for victims of criminal child abuse within the Arlington community. What an amazing example of the power of women working together to change the world in such a meaningful way.”
