Maverick Dance Company presents VIA DANCE, a collection of new, entertaining, and progressive dance works running December 7th, 8th, and 9th, 2018. The concert title, VIA DANCE, is based on a

perspective that, through dance, we can communicate what is often challenging to put into words and that dance can simultaneously speak many languages and connect us on a visceral level.

Choreographers Amanda Jackson, Artistic Director, and Meredith Knight Treminio, Associate Artistic Director, are joined by guests Alex Acero, Becca Kahl, and V. Kyle Tyson and student choreographers: Taylor Anderson, Yesenia Barrera, Marissa Bateman, Austin Beck, Megan Medina, and Natalie Thomas. VIA DANCE includes a variety dance styles.

VIA DANCE is directed by Amanda Jackson and Meredith Knight Treminio and lighting design by Hailey Herrin, Terry Jorgensen, Jared Land, Laurie Land, and Vinchenzo Locascio.

VIA DANCE is presented in the UTA Mainstage Theatre (Fine Arts Building, North Section, Room 174) located at 502 South Cooper Street on the UTA campus. Performances of VIA DANCE are at 8 p.m. Dec. 7 and Dec. 8 and at 2:30 p.m. Dec. 9. Tickets are $10 for the general public and $8 for students/senior citizens/UTA faculty and staff.
