1. Teen Take Over Night at Cliff Nelson Recreation Center

Hang out at Cliff Nelson Recreation Center from 6-9 p.m. on Friday, March 2 for Arlington Parks & Recreation's Teen Take Over Night. Play video games, participate in social media challenges, enjoy food, music and more. Play NBA 2K18 and Madden 18 tournaments with prizes for winners. Drop-in registration is $5 and this event is open to kids ages 13-16. Cliff Nelson Recreation Center is located at 4600 W Bardin Rd, Arlington, TX 76017.

2. The Glenn Miller Orchestra at Arlington Music Hall

The World Famous Glenn Miller Orchestra is one of the most popular and sought after big bands in the world today for both concert and swing dance engagements. With its unique jazz sound, the Glenn Miller Orchestra will perform at Arlington Music Hall this Friday, March 2 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are still available online at Arlington Music Hall's website. 3. Texas Regional Radio Music Awards Show at Arlington Music Hall

The Texas Regional Radio Music Awards Show is proud to announce its eighth annual awards show and seminar this Saturday, March 3, 2018 at Arlington Music Hall in Downtown. This year's performers will be Deryl Dodd, Steve Helms, Justin Ross, Jamie Richards, Bradley Banning, Girls From Texas (Adrian Johnston, Charla Corn, Sarah Hobbs and Holly Tucker), with special guest Sundance Head, the Season 11 winner of NBC's The Voice. The event starts at 6 p.m. and tickets are available at Arlington Music Hall's website.

4. Live Music at Grease Monkey Burger Shop & Social Club

Head over to Grease Monkey Burger Shop & Social Club in Downtown Arlington for two nights of live music this weekend. On Friday night, classic rock, modern rock, country, pop, and blues music from Strum & Drum starts at 9 p.m. On Saturday night, residents and visitors can check out 57 Sauce, a hometown band that started up in 2012. That show also starts at 9 p.m. Grease Monkey is located at 200 N Mesquite St, Arlington, TX 76011.

5. Friday Night Films: Coco

Arlington residents and visitors are invited to watch Coco, the animated hit from Disney's Pixar Animation Studios. The movie will be shown in the Rosebud Auditorium on the campus of UT Arlington. There will two viewing opportunities 4 p.m. & 8 p.m. on Friday, March 2, 2018. Tickets will be $3 and UTA EXCEL accepts either cash or card. Concessions, drinks, and free popcorn will be provided.

6. Six Flags Over Texas

Six Flags Over Texas, the Thrill Capital of Texas, continues its 57th season in The American Dream City. The park will open this weekend for guests to enjoy their favorite coasters and attractions, while preparations continue for the late spring debut of the ultimate Super-Villain thrill ride-HARLEY QUINN Spinsanity. The park's operating hours are from 10:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday. 7. DreamWorks Shrek Jr. The Musical at Theatre Arlington

Everyone's favorite ogre, Shrek, leads a cast of fairytale misfits on an adventure to rescue a princess and find true acceptance in DreamWorks Shrek Jr. The Musical at Theatre Arlington. The show opens this Friday, February 23, 2018 and runs through March 11.

8. Bikes & Coffee at Urban Alchemy

Urban Alchemy Coffee + Wine Bar will be hosting Third Shift Moto's Saturday Mornings Bikes & Coffee from 9 a.m. to noon this Saturday, March 3. The vintage motorcycle shop specializes in vintage Japanese Motorcycles. The shop also provides service options for maintenance, troubleshooting, restorations and custom builds. 9. Happy Goat Yoga for Charity at Legal Draft Beer Co.

Happy Goat Yoga DFW has joined forces with Downtown Arlington, Legal Draft Beer Co. and Arlington Yoga Center to bring you this popular event on Saturday, March 3 at 10 a.m. Enjoy a yoga class while friendly pygmy goats run around, under, and over you. Guests are encouraged to stick around and enjoy craft beer from Legal Draft. The host venue is located at 500 E Division St. All proceeds go to www.HeresYourReminder.org. Click here for tickets.

10. UTA Native American Student Association Powwow

The Native American Student Association and UTA Honors College will host the 23rd Annual Benefit Powwow on Saturday, March 3 at The University of Texas at Arlington. This year's powwow will include traditional foods, vendors and dancing. The event will be held 10 a.m. to 10 p.m in the E.H. Hereford University Center Bluebonnet Ballroom, 300 W. First St. Admission is free and open to the public.

11. Shows at UTA Planetarium

UTA Planetarium continues to offer shows to residents and visitors. This includes Spacepark 360: Infinity, a planetarium show designed to recreate the experience of amusement park thrill rides, roller coasters, pendulums, inverters and more.
