Six Flags Over Texas’ Scariest Fright Fest Ever Starts This Saturday

Six Flags Over Texas, the Thrill Capital of Texas, will turn into the Fright Capital of Texas offering the Scariest Fright Fest Ever with an all-new scare zone, eye-catching and thrilling performance, plus a unique event that is appropriate for the holiday season. This year"s Halloween festival will have a 22 day run beginning Saturday, September 23.

"We are set to unleash the biggest and scariest Fright Fest in history," said Park President Steve Martindale. "Our team is pulling out all of the stops, and ramping the fear factor way up to deliver the "must-do" Halloween event of the season."

New this season

Goblin Attack Squad: Careful, these sinister creatures might just slide right through you! This high-energy show brings all of the sliding goblins together for one frighteningly spectacular performance. But once they surround you, there"s no turning back! Located at the GOTHAM CITY stage.

Los Chupacabras: Once the night creeps into this small, tranquil village, the legend of the half dog, half-humanlike creature comes to life! These monsters prey on anyone who dares to enter their territory. Located in the Mexico Section

HalloWeddings: Say, "I do!" in the most ghoulish of wedding ceremonies! Join us on Friday, October 13th with a marriage scaremony uniting couples who vow to love, honor and cherish each other, all the way into the afterlife.

The scariest Fright Fest ever will take over the 212-acre theme park as the largest Halloween event of its kind in North Texas with six free-admission fright zones, five premium haunted houses, Halloween-themed shows, plus treats for the little ghouls and goblins.
