Interlochen Holiday Lights

One of the largest holiday light displays in North Texas continues in Arlington for the 42nd year. Open to the public through Christmas Day, the Arlington Police Department has setup traffic control posts from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. to help facilitate safe travel through the annual Interlochen Christmas Lights display. Drivers must enter the Interlochen neighborhood from Randol Mill Road at Westwood Drive. Admission is free. Click here to view the Interlochen Holiday Lights 2017 traffic map.

Enchant Christmas

The American Dream City is about to get a whole lot brighter with the U.S. debut of Enchant Christmas. Get lost in the world's largest light maze. Take photos around the largest Christmas tree in North Texas. In collaboration with the Texas Rangers and Arlington Convention - Visitors Bureau, Enchant Christmas illuminates the Texas skies through December 31, 2017. Hours of operation are 5:00pm-11:00pm, Tuesday through Sunday. Enchant will be closed December 24 and Mondays with the exception of December 18 and 25. Enchant will play in Lot F at Globe Life Park, 1000 Ballpark Way (on the corners of Copeland Road and AT-T Way).

Holiday in the Park at Six Flags Over Texas

Holiday in the Park is back for select days through January 7, 2018 at Six Flags Over Texas in Arlington's Entertainment District. From festive shows to an extravagantly decorated Christmas tree, holiday fun is around every corner. The whole family can relish in the joy of this wonderful season with a ride on a hill made of snow and enjoy holiday festive treats. This one-of-a-kind experience in The American Dream City is sure to provide you and your family with long-lasting memories you will cherish for years to come!

Seahawks vs. Cowboys at AT-T Stadium

The NFL season continues this Sunday, December 24, 2017 with a key NFC showdown between the Seattle Seahawks (8-6) and your Dallas Cowboys (8-6) at AT-T Stadium in Arlington. The team hopes to stay in the playoff hunt with a win on Sunday after a thrilling 20-17 road victory against the Oakland Raiders in prime-time last week. Happy Holidays Pop-Up Market at The Sleepy Cottage

Gifts galore await you at the Happy Holidays Gift Market, brought to you by 817ArtsAlliance at The Sleepy Cottage, located at 500 E Front St #150 Arlington, TX 76011. The market runs through Saturday, December 23, 2017. Local artisans and collectors from a variety of backgrounds will share their enthusiasm for what they create and collect with all that are interested. A wide range of finds are expected at this year's market such as ceramics, jewelry, soap, photos, holiday decorations, art, glass creations and fiber/cloth goodies.

Salvador Dali Exhibit at Arlington Museum of Art

Salvador Dali was a painter, designer, sculptor, writer and set designer. He was also a master engraver who could produce equally outstanding work in dry point, etching, woodcut or lithography. This exhibition features Dali's full series of Dante's The Divine Comedy, for which each of the lithographs presented required as many as 35 colors. UTA Planetarium continues to offer shows to residents and visitors. This includes Stars of the Pharaohs, a planetarium show that visitors on a journey to ancient Egypt to see how science was used to tell time, make a workable calendar, and align huge buildings.
