Arlington residents who tuned in to watch Fox's "MasterChef Junior" this past week might have noticed a familiar brand hidden under the contestants' "Mystery Box."

Blue Apron, which has a fulfillment center in Arlington, teamed up with Endemol Shine North America to create a Mystery Box Challenge featuring fresh winter vegetables, wild Alaskan salmon, and chicken breast. The young contestants on the April 20 episode had 45 minutes to create their own culinary master piece.

The winning recipe, MasterChef Junior Chinese Five-Spice Salmon, will be featured on the upcoming Blue Apron Family Plan menu starting May 8.

Arlington has been home to Blue Apron since 2015 when the company opened its fulfillment center at 2301 Centennial Drive in east Arlington. Blue Apron allows families to skip the hassle of the grocery store and have ingredients for a delicious dinner delivered directly to their home. Blue Apron currently delivers more than 2 million meals a month across the country.
