Bone appetit! What better way to spend time with your favorite canine pal than with live music, local beer and dog-themed food?

Dog owners and dog lovers are invited to engAGE Arlington's 2nd annual Yappy Hour Dog Social, scheduled from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, April 28 at Vandergriff Park, 2800 S. Center Street.

This doggie social will feature a variety of specialty vendors and food trucks, including Pokey O's, Chez Flo, Sampson's Gourmet Hot Dogs and Bark Out Loud Doggie Boutique and Cafe, where pups can receive treats such as Pupcorn, Pup-tato chips, doggie beer, cheese, and Bark-A-Lattes.

Leashed dogs of all breeds and adults ages 21 and up are welcome to attend. Tickets are $10 in advance or $15 cash at the event. The first 500 people to sign up will receive a special edition pint glass and one free Legal Draft beer at the event.

Attendees will also be able to enjoy a cash bar and live music by Tristan Bugenis and Hunter & Savannah. Seating is limited, so guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets.
