Bead Fest is Back

Learn how to make jewelry from the pros at Bead Fest.

Bead Fest is a bead and jewelry making event presented by Interweave, the publisher of Beadwork and Handcrafted Jewelry.

The event features more than a 100 classes and workshops taught by some of the nation's top instructors.

Bead Fest couples as a Shopping Expo for exhibitors to display beads, gems, stones and other jewelry-making supplies and tools.

Those interested in exhibitor space or providing supplies for Bead Fest should contact Dana Groves, Event Sales Manager at (215) 510-0493, Bead Fest runs from March 27 - 30 at the Arlington Convention Center.

"I Love You But I Can't Stand You Right" Now Mother Daughter Seminar " Fair

Mothers and daughters learn how to get through to one another at the Mother and Teen Daughter conference.

The I Love You, But I Can't Stand You Right Now Seminar and Fair is a very interactive seminar for working moms and their young daughters.

The event teaches communication strategies and gives participants the opportunity to consult with experts in a childhood development.

It's Saturday, March 29, from 12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. at 300 West First Street Arlington, TX 76019, on the campus of the University of Texas at Arlington.

Advanced ticket prices for one mother and daughter are $15. On-site tickets are $20.

Theatre Arlington presents: Doubt, a Parable

Watch an award winning play that will challenge you in every way.

Doubt, a Parable, is a story about ethics, instincts and the responsibilities of those in authority.

The Pulitzer Prize and Tony award-winning stage play was also made into a movie starring Meryl Streep and the late Phillip Seymour Hoffman.

Doubt opens on Friday, March 28th at 8:00 p.m., followed immediately by a post-show reception with the cast and crew.

Tickets are $22 for adults with discounts available for seniors, students and groups.

The Run With Our Vets " Beat RCC 5k Run is dedicated to providing support to our nations disabled veterans and to helping raise awareness for Renal Cell Carcinoma.

RCC is a potentially deadly form of kidney cancer that is common in Vietnam veterans.

Evidence shows that the chemical Agent Orange, released during the Vietnam War is related to Renal Cell Carcinoma.

The event is Saturday, March 29 at the Maverick Athletic Center on the UT Arlington campus.

The address is 500 W. Nedderman Drive Arlington, TX 76019, the race begins at 8:30 a.m..
