A new hospital is coming to Arlington.

Texas Health Resources, Methodist Health System and Centerre Healthcare Corp. of Nashville are joining forces to build a 40-bed hospital in southern Arlington. Texas Rehabilitation Hospital of Arlington will serve patients recovering from strokes and other brain or spinal cord injuries, amputations and other complex injuries.

The new facility is expected to employ about 150 people when open.

Texas Health and Methodist Health have worked before with Centerre Healthcare on Texas Rehabilitation Hospital of Fort Worth, a THR facility, and Methodist Rehabilitation Hospital in Dallas. Centerre is a national provider of inpatient acute rehabilitation services.
