Theatre Arlington Presents: The Nerd

Called the funniest play ever written by some, Willum Cubbert invites Rick Steadman (someone who saved Willum's life, but whom Willum has never met) to stay with him. When Rick arrives, Willum realizes Rick is a hopeless "nerd". The longer Rick stays, the more things lead to one uproarious incident after another, until Willum finds himself contemplating violence. Friday & Saturday performances are at 8 p.m.; Sunday's show begins at 2 p.m. Tickets are $10.

Workshop Watercolors

The Arlington Museum of Art provides a workshop session every second Saturday of the month; this weekend's workshop will show you how to use watercolors. Some materials will be provided. This three-hour session begins at start at 10 a.m. Cost: $25.

Reminder: Tax Free Weekend

School is just weeks away! So don't miss Texas Tax Free Weekend. Most clothing, school supplies and backpacks will be tax free from Friday until Sunday.
