Largest Food Truck Festival in Texas

A food truck phenomenon that's captivated the nation is finally coming to Arlington this spring.

Experience Arlington has teamed up with Texas Rangers Enterprises and U.S. Food Trucks to present the inaugural Texas Food Truckin' Fest at the Rangers Ballpark in Arlington. Set for April 26 and 27, this event will feature more than 50 food trucks, live entertainment and other activities for the entire family.

"The Texas Food Truckin' Fest is an event that will be larger than any other two-day food truck fest in Texas,' said Decima Cooper, Director of Public Relations & Communications for Experience Arlington. "The location is perfect for foodies to come from all directions and experience Arlington in a whole new way!'

The food truck festival is scheduled to run 4 to 10 p.m. on Friday, April 26 and noon to 10 p.m. on Saturday, April 27. A one-day adult pass costs $10, with a two-pass day $12. Children 12 and under pay $5; children under 32 inches tall get in free. Parking will be free.

Some of the food trucks participating this year include Tin Star Taco Taxi, Eat Jo Dawgs, Pompeii DFW, Yellow Belly, Tutta's Pizza, First Bite, Taste of Home, Simply Dosa and Bombay Chopstix.

Organizers plan to donate 15 percent of attendance proceeds to the American Cancer Society.
