Arlington Animal Services'is proud to introduce "Miss Lucky", the Dog of the Week. This precious German Shepherd/Collie Mix has a friendly disposition and is a joy to spend time with. She enjoys walking on a leash, knows basic commands such as sit and down, and follows these commands best when using hand signals. Volunteers believe she may take to house training easily since she responded well to potty commands outside in our outdoor meet and greet area. This gorgeous girl is in the prime of her life at eight years "young", is confident, smart and responds to positive reinforcement and is food motivated. She has good manners, listens well and enjoyed exploring our outdoor meet and greet with volunteers. Lucky is a large breed dog and weighs about 100 pounds. She would do best with a family who has a yard and enjoys the outdoors. This special girl was brought to our shelter due to the previous owner's poor health and she is looking for a forever home today. If you are looking for a large breed dog who has a relaxed personality and is past the "puppy" stage, Lucky may be your girl! When you come to meet with her, be sure to provide her ID number. She's located in our adoption mall and her ID number is 20703622. Adoption fees include all core vaccinations, microchip and 30 days of free pet insurance. Come down to the Arlington Animal Services'Center today.....You just might get "Lucky" and fall in love!
