Dog of the Week – Meet Vinny
This nearly two-year, two-month-old male Alaskan Husky mix is white and red in color and weighs 49 pounds. You might not be able to tell from the photo, but Vinny had just had a bath and was feeling so fresh and clean and ready for a new "furever" home. This guy has a goofy personality that we can all appreciate. He is a staff favorite because of his silly personality but he also has a calm demeanor. If you need someone in your corner to share exercise opportunities with, then Vinny might be a good choice. Second Dog of the Week – Meet Monet
This nearly one-year, nine-month-old male Pit Bull Terrier mix is brown and white in color and weighs 54 pounds. Not wanting to "paint this dog with a broad brush", we would have to say he is a sweet guy who is so well behaved. Described as incredibly sweet, he really just wants a lot of affection and attention! Monet has a special way of looking at you, that no matter how busy you may be, you will be compelled to stop and give him some "pets"! Having spent over 80 days in the shelter, this canine is ready for his adopting family to come right on in and choose him to be their new furry friend. While Monet is eager to be in a new home, he would prefer not sharing it with any friends of the "feline" variety.
